Students in Information Engineering
The application for admission to IEDIE must be sent:
between September 1st and the start of lectures (after checking the admission to the Master Program, for 1st year students) by e‐mail to: franca.garzotto@polimi.it, with the following e‐mail subject: “IEDIE Application– Engineering”.
The application can be submitted by students attending the Master Programs in Computer Science and Engineering who earned at least 26 CFU during the first year of their Master Program with an average mark of at least 25/30.
The following documents must be included in the application:
- Motivation letter
- Exams transcript of the Bachelor Program (self-certification is accepted)
- For students already enrolled in the Master Program, Master Exams transcript
- Curriculum Vitae with clear indication of academic and professional competences developed and how they were developed
- Proposed course plan
Admittance to the Internal Erasmus Project will be decided after the evaluation of the submitted documentation and possibly a F2F colloquium.
Students in Communication Design and Product for Information Design
The application for admission to IEDIE must be sent:
between September 1st and the start of lectures (after checking the admission to the Master Program, for 1st year students) by e‐mail to: venanzio.arquilla@polimi.it, with the following e‐mail subject: “IEDIE Application– Design”.
The students enrolled in the 1st year of the Master Program must include at least 6 CFUs in the first year study plan and 12 CFUs in the 2nd year from courses selected in the Engineering Courses Table. For students in Communication Design extra 6 CFU will replace the first year workshop.
The following documents must be included in the application:
- Motivation letter
- Exams transcript of the Bachelor Program (self-certification is accepted)
- For students already enrolled in the Master Program, Master Exams transcript
- Curriculum Vitae with clear indication of academic and professional competences developed and how they were developed
- Proposed course plan
Admittance to the Internal Erasmus Project will be decided after the evaluation of the submitted documentation and possibly a F2F colloquium.
Withdraw from IEDIE
If the student withdraws from IEDIE, the attended IEIDI courses will remain the Study Plan as unless the student decides to replace them with other courses.
For Design students, the IEDIE courses that replace Workshops will account as “in excess” courses if passes, otherwise they will be removed from the study plan. In both cases, the Study Plan will be integrated with the curricular Workshop.
