IEDIE is Internal Erasmus that enables Master students to include and attend some courses offered by Master Programs at Politecnico di Milano that are different from the ones in which they are currently enrolled. The courses must be selected within a predefined set.

Specifically, IEDIE is offered to Master students in Information Engineering, Communication Design, and Integrated Product Design, and, if successfully undertaken, is officially acknowledged by Politecnico di Milano in the students’ curriculum. The courses characterizing IEDIE will be highlighted as “belonging to IEDIE” in the student’s Diploma Supplement.

IEDIE is shaped as an autonomous study plan. In this academic year, a maximum of 10 students from both schools will be admitted to the program.

For the Master Students in Information Engineering, the study plan must include a minimum of 15 CFU and a maximum of 30 CFUs selected among the courses offered by the Master Plan in Communication Design and the Master Plan in Product for Innovation Design reported in the table Design Courses. A maximum of 20 credits will be recognized towards the degree in Computer Engineering.

For the students in Communication Design, the study plan must include a minimum of 18 CFU and a maximum of 24 CFUs in Information Engineering. For the students in Product for Information Design, the study plan must include a minimum of 18 CFU and a maximum of 18 CFUs in Information Engineering. The engineering courses must be selected from the table of Information Engineering Courses. Additional courses from this table can be included in the Study Plan and will be considered as “in excess” courses.
